Tax is that familiar melody, sinful and true. Hum it if you've earned a dollar or two. Bucks in billions for the government for whatever they do. Anyone who earns a living gives more than a few. So schools can be their best, so our roads will have no cracks; Someone fix those train tracks! I'm even callin' you Uncle and I'm payin' my tax. There are many different ways we pay what we owe. Lady's if you'll follow the lovely tableau. Income, property, sales, utility. Candy bars in my show. Licenses for dogs and cats, and that's not all you know. Out of every dollar a person can make, City, State and Federal governments take... Take what? What they think is fair you givin' your share; Now and then there's a break. Max is talking taxes, Hey, I kept you awake! For the things your town may need, For the things a country lacks, All good things take green backs. We hear you callin' Uncle and we're paying our tax. People do complain, Say their taxes are high; What am I to get in return? So keep those receipts. Be kind to your parents at tax time. And remember April 15th. April 15th. What a showman you are Max. Entertaining us with tax, In those snazzy plaid slacks. These slacks are for my business. I tell you how to fit them. I hear you callin' Uncle, and I'm paying my tax. His tax are max. - "Tax Man Max"PROPAGANDA SET TO MUSIC! corrupting the youth of my generation... I just realized it... ( '"And", "but", and "or", Get you pretty far...' <-- now stuck in my head )

Someone posted the code for the DVD encryption scheme currently in use. It seems to have gone viral on the net. There's a big hooha going around and Digg.com is in the middle of it. One poster left this as a comment and I just thought it interesting: steven edward streight said...

"Violence can only be concealed by a lie, and the lie can only be maintained by violence. Any man who has once proclaimed violence as his method is inevitably forced to take the lie as his principle."

''The most dangerous man, to any 'government', is the man who is able to think things out for himself...Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the 'government' he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable.''

"There is this fetishist worship of parents, which is the scar tissue of having been brutalized and frightened, so it's a very, very common thing in our culture to worship parents, and parents are the template for government... And its hard for people to give up on that, in the same way that its hard for people to give up on god... They won't crush that fantasy... And the parental virtue one is really, really, a fundamental one..." --Stefan Molynuex, podcast: #747 Call In Show May 6 2007

if you can't figure out how to make a decision for yourself, do you expect someone who doesn't know you to be able to do that better? - the succint brilliance of NonE ;D

"The question as to who is to be left alone and who is not, will be answered by how groups and individuals deal with several factors such as: avoidance of conspiracy plots, rejection of feeble minded malcontents, insistence upon quality of the participants, avoidance of all contact with the front men for the federals--the news media--and, finally, camouflage... Primarily though, whether any organization is allowed to continue in the future will be a matter of how big a threat a group represents. Not a threat in terms of armed might or political ability, for there is none of either for the present, but rather, threat in terms of potentiality. It is potential the federals fear most... ...the last thing Federal snoops would have, if they had any choice in the matter, is a thousand different small phantom cells opposing them. It is easy to see why. Such a situation is an intelligence nightmare for a government intent upon knowing everything they possibly can about those who oppose them. The Federals, able to amass overwhelming strength of numbers, manpower, resources, intelligence gathering, and capability at any given time, need only a focal point to direct their anger. A single penetration of a pyramid type of organization can lead to the destruction of the whole. Whereas, Leaderless Resistance presents no single opportunity for the Federals to destroy a significant portion of the Resistance." - Louis Beam, " Leaderless Resistance" (1983) -- compare this recent gwotaganda term

Also remember folks, voting is a form of TERRORISM (since it is defined in 18 U.S.C. ยง 2232b(g)(5) as any action "calculated to influence or affect the conduct of government by intimidation or coercion, or to retaliate against government conduct."
Not only is casting a political vote an inherently (though implied) violent act of coercion (i.e. endorsing the use of deadly force to "get your way"), but even ignoring that, how many people vote "against" the incumbent... as "retaliation" to their horrible previous "government conduct"?

I had seen "K-PAX" in the theatres, and last night it was on the Idiot Box and I remember enjoying it so I taped it. Watched a bit before going to bed, and I forgot this priceless exchange of verbiage: [bracketed words] are my paraphrase from memory -- I will put the accurate quote in here tonight probably* - - - * this blog page might be accurate, I'll check it again tonight.
