Well now, 2i2, that was just plain NASTY! Here we were just going along minding our own business, grazing and bleating and there was simply NO CALL for such revelations to be exposed. NO CALL! It was rude.

My Antagonists have already done as much as I could desire. Parties in Religion and Politics make sufficient discoveries concerning each other, to give a sober man a proper caution against them all. The Monarchic, Aristocratical, and Popular Partizans have been jointly laying their axes to the root of all Government, and have in their turns proved each other absurd and inconvenient. In vain you tell me that Artificial Government is good, but that I fall out only with the abuse. The Thing! the Thing itself is the Abuse! —Edmund Burke (1757): A Vindication of Natural Society [via post by Rad Geek, on Niels' The FreedomChannel blogspot, on Ayn Rand video ]

Most viewers of the show do not tune in to hear Rosie O'Donnell's views on such arcane subjects as Building Seven, September 11th, 2001 in general, or even her opinion on the capture of British intelligence agents. Most tune in to hear celebrity gossip and chatty conversation. It is quite incidental Rosie expressed her opinions and no doubt these opinions sailed right over the head of the average watcher or audience member, as demonstrated by the relative silence on the part of the audience when O'Donnell made her comments. Hopefully, though, at least a minority was inspired to investigate further, although I certainly would not bet the farm on a mass conversion to truth and reality beyond the Borg Hive mentality offered by the corporate media. Our reason," the StopRosie site continues, "for calling this boycott is to raise awareness of the anti-American rhetoric being displayed in the mainstream media today. We aim to show Disney-ABC (and their sponsors) that we, as American citizens, will no longer enable an anti-American individual to occupy our network television airtime." Please. As anybody with two brain cells to rub together understands, there is no such thing as "anti-American rhetoric" in the "mainstream media," that is to say the corporate media. Of course, that depends on how you define "anti-American rhetoric." For the neocons, good Americans shut the hell up, wave their plastic flags in unison, and support all manner of mass murder and torture.- Kurt Nimmo

In "honor" [ sic] of April 15th (which for 2007, with the Federal's HolyDays/holidays of JewDay-O-Xristianity Day-- aka "Sunday", and "Emancipation Day"/how ironic-moronic, was the 17th): Rad Geek, courtesy of GoComics

"Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do and how you do it." - Rudy Giuliani (as quoted here) Well Mr. Wantstabedictatorinchief, I guess you misunderstood the satirical intent of "1984", and you believe that war *is* peace, and freedom is... well, you know.

That was a funny cartoon, but geez, can you make one post eye2 without referring to religion? I don't know about anyone else, but I am getting real bored with it, to a point I spend less time reading posts and less time posting.
We get the point already, you don't like religion or spiritual texts, move on.

Happiness never appeared to me as an absolute aim. I am even inclined to compare such moral aims to the ambitions of a pig. The ideals that have lighted my way are Kindness, Beauty and Truth. - Albert Einstein, as quoted here

"I know that most men, including those at ease with problems of the greatest complexity, can seldom accept the simplest and most obvious truth if it be such as would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions which they have proudly taught to others, and which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabrics of their life." "The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him." - Leo Tolstoy
