"That perception must end.”~ U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona hahaha ok... Things are more like they are now, then they ever have been before !~Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower

Hey Marc, here is one from Philip K. thingy: "The authentic human being is one of us who instinctively knows what he should not do, and, in addition, he will balk at doing it. He will refuse to do it, even if this brings down dread consequences to him and to those whom he loves. This, to me, is the ultimately heroic trait of ordinary people; they say no to the tyrant and they calmly take the consequences of this resistance. Their deeds may be small, and almost always unnoticed, unmarked by history. Their names are not remembered, nor did these authentic humans expect their names to be remembered. I see their authenticity in an odd way: not in their willingness to perform great heroic deeds but in their quiet refusals. In essence, they cannot be compelled to be what they are not. " heh heh Excellent. "Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth." Albert Einstein.

If you get on the Daily Show and actually get a chance to say anything, I doubt the Daily Show would be on the air very long. If you get on any kind of the broadcast talk shows like that, I will have to have my jaw surgically reattached.

"The state is the great fictitious entity by which everyone seeks to live at the expense of everyone else."
This is the quote I was looking. It is by Frederic Bastiat

That's exactly the backlash I expect. I predict that all the talk shows would be talking about it the next few days. All those so-called "pundits" trying to explain it away.
Maybe Sean Hannity can scream about me being "Anti-American" and Michael Weiner (Savage) can call for my placement in a concentration camp.

I was watching this documentary about Ben Franklin. They were talking about his quotes from his Almanac. One of his less famous quotes was:
"Force sh.ites on reason's back"
I thought that one was pretty funny.

Another from Winston C.
Believe what you will but I like to interpret this one keeping in mind that it is the nature of the government beast regardless of what you call it to be socialistic in nature. With that said . . .
"If you are in your 20's and not a socialist you have no heart. If you are in your 40's and your still a socialist you have no brain". - Winston Churchil

"I've set my own rules to live by. The first one is: 'Never believe anything the government says.'" -- George Carlin. "If one synchronised swimmer drowns, do all the rest have to drown too?" -- Steven Wright. MICHAEL: I'm working for my father now, Kay. He's been sick -- very sick. KAY: But you're not like him, Michael. I thought you weren't going to become a man like your father. That's what you told me... MICHAEL: My father's no different than any other powerful man -- (then, after Kay laughs) -- Any man who's responsible for other people. Like a senator or a president. KAY: You know how naive you sound? MICHAEL: Why? KAY: Senators and presidents don't have men killed... MICHAEL: Oh -- who's being naïve, Kay? Michael Corleone and Kay, The Godfather.

Given that we see with our brains and "we" only see what our brain wants us to see... David Icke (the conspiracy factist guy with the lizard-shapeshifter angle) said something* about how the universe is made up of atoms that are almost entirely empty space - nothingness! - and also he mentioned how - as Marc has said, ironically enough! - that we filter all information we take in through the senses by adding to it, taking away from it, or warping it, with a prime example being our vision (we literally see the world upside down - - - - * in an interview with "This Morning"; argh I can't find the video file but if anyone knows what I am talking about perhaps include a link, it's worth a viewing just to hear his way of describing the nature of reality - in "fact", not opinion - - -
