Let`s see where we are at.Weis, you have a desire,or would prefer,if people who don`t practice abstinence, would do? Have I got that right?Perhaps the previously posted question would have been better phrased as "what do you want to see affected"

In my county alone , the average abortion rate is 20 a day. The ultimate thing I would like to see affected is the body count to drop.

1/3 of all pregnancies are aborted naturally. These millions of deaths are called 'miscarriages'.
Shouldn't something be done about these many deaths of the innocents?

Do the miscarriages happen voluntarily? Do the mothers wake up, stretch out, have a V-8, and say, "I think I'll have a miscarriage today." ? ?

I am not aware of retroactive BC , as it was suggested by Stu, but if it were possible, it would be a drop in the body count in the inverted perspective. JUDGE, are you a population control enthusiast by any chance?

I guess body count may be a bit slang, but every woman I've known that has voluntarily chosen to get an abortion has been bummed out for life. It has a huge rippling effect. Since the rate is 20 a day, that means there's not only 20 people being deprived of Life & the pursuit of liberty, but also 20 people a day who are going to be bummed out the rest of their life in my Hometown.
So all in all, I would love to present other options via media to where women would want to choose to preserve & further the pursuit of Life & Liberty by bearing a child. Also, to where men would learn to respect women's bodies while learning self control in order that, when they do get married, they will be in a better frame of mind to lead a healthy family.

Weis,
I`ve never had an abortion myself, but I know some who have.None of them said that they took the decision lightly, and it did leave "mental scars".But on only one occasion did the person involved say they would have taken a different decision if they could turn back time.i.e.it was the "right" decision for them at that time.
All the best with your voluntaryist endeavours.

This is a question that will ignite furror in many.. Are you looking for a sterile amoral response? (notice I said amoral, not immoral) Hi, Rizzo. What is the factual difference between amoral and immoral? They are both, not moral.

BoyntonStu A misscarriage isn't murder. Murder implies premditation(forethought and planning). Nobody intended for the baby to die before birth.

If I pay someone to kill someone else, Is that a crime? It may be "legal" for women to abort their babies, but they can't perform it on themselves. They have to contract someone else to do it for them. Abortion is birth control after the fact, to rid themselves of the result of their sin, and immoral behavior. One sin, to fix the other sin.
Since his Holy spirit gives us life, Then what is the blasphamy of the holy spirit(unpardonable sin)?

Hi, Rizzo. What is the factual difference between amoral and immoral? They are both, not moral. Glad you asked. Amoral is neither moral or immoral, not caring about right or wrong. Immoral is contrary to established moral principles, characterized by wickedness. Also by deviating from what is considered right or good. Forget about facts, everything is an opinion.

The basic question is:
"Does abortion constitute murder?"
Then take it from there.
