The basic question is: "Does abortion constitute murder?" Then take it from there. KT More to the question, Is abortion contract murder? Doctors take MONEY to perform the proceedure. Abortion is "legal"' for women, The doctor is not part of her body, or her family. What's a doctor hypocratic oath again, First do no harm? I'm sure we are all aware of how many women die in "legal"abortion clinics every year, from hemoraging to death. Oh, that's right, Their never reported. Last year there was a case of a 13 y/o girl, who was taken by the school nurce to planned parenthood, without the parents knowledge or appruval, to get an abortion. The girl died in the recovery room from hemoraging. The school nurce claimed no responcability, and informed the parents that she was only obligated to the girls privacy, and didn't have to ask them or inform them.

EVEN more to the question! How do we define "murder" ? Murder is defined in the law. If not in the law, homocide or killing a person. homocide is not murder. War is also homocide. Thus abortion is not murder as defined. If it was murder, you could justifiablykill an abortion doctor before he/she 'murders' the fetus. BoyntonStu

If I pay someone to kill someone else, Is that a crime? It may be "legal" for women to abort their babies, but they can't perform it on themselves. They have to contract someone else to do it for them. Abortion is birth control after the fact, to rid themselves of the result of their sin, and immoral behavior. One sin, to fix the other sin. Since his Holy spirit gives us life, Then what is the blasphamy of the holy spirit(unpardonable sin)? RU-486 doesn`t involve a "3rd" party.(Unless you include the supplier). J M

Consider the hypothetical: the mother of learnin2 is attacked and raped.As a consequence she becomes pregnant.She decides on an abortion as the idea of giving birth in these circumstances is repugnant to her.Is she "sinful" and guilty of "immoral behaviour"?

How do we define "homicide" ? J M Homicide - The killing of a human being by another human. Examples - Sheriff kills a suspect who shot at him first, soldier kills enemy in battle, person kills another in self defense, homeowner kills armed intruder threatening her life. According to the incorrectly worded Ten Commandments, ‘Though shall not kill' all of my examples would be a sin. According the correct wording, "Though Shall Not Murder", these acts are not sinful or against God's Laws. BoyntonStu PS This is what I found after I wrote the above: Kill Etymology: Latin homicidium, from homo human being + caedere to cut, kill 1 : a person who kills another 2 : the killing of one human being by another Main Entry: mur•der Etymology: partly from Old English morthor; partly from Old French murdre, of Germanic origin : the crime of unlawfully and unjustifiably killing another under circumstances defined by statute (as with premeditation);

I'll answer, Yes it would be. There are other altermatives like adoption. How many people everyday, are raising childern that were not their own? If your answer is that you can't love somebody that isn't a blood relative, than I put it to you that you wife is not blood related. Tell her that you can't possibly love her for this reason. My sisters and i don't have the same dad, How can I possibly love them? Easy! Very easy!

What was Joseph's reaction, when he found out that His new wife, Mary, was pregnant with someone elses child? Did Mary consent to being impregnated? Could you than equate the imaculate conseption as being rape? Who's will is most important here, ours, or God's?

.....The acceptance of the truth that LIFE is a a gift of God and therefore divine. The proper use of this gift impels man to become the master, not the slave, of nature. His appetites are to be controlled and used for the benefit of his health and the prolongation of life. His passions are to be mastered and controlled for the happiness and blessings of others and the PERPETUITY of the [human] race.
David O. McKay, Prophet and President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints from 1951-1970.

This is just way off base. Do you think that asking a judge if he/she has jurisdiction is off base? I think that the question was objective and to the point. Here's another. Did God impregnate Mary? Is Jesus God? If so, then Jesus impregnated his own mother. Just thinking logically and connecting the dots. If so, then Jesus cuckolded his own father Joseph. These are the logical consequences of being an insider in Religious Land. An outsider is in Marc's corner when it comes to Legal Land. Who is an outsider in Religious Land? BoyntonStu
