He said his MySpace is "Awake And Free" -- actually it's "AwakenFree":
dang! and I thought I'd google-oogled every combination trying to turn it up! ;D so let me quote you, D+D, as to my appreciation here: SWEET!

Ian is a good guy and there were no conditions to be on.

I knew there was no "condition" (hence the wink)... "non voting" seems to be an issue that they wouldn't consider seriously and rationally the last time you were on, but hey you got on twice so nothing to complain about! Ian is definitely a good guy -- you can tell due to how decent he is to callers (and even co-hosts) who are totally irrational ;D He also defended the "utopian nevergonnahappenland" during the last hour, quite articulately so; if you were still on as a guest you would have gone into more practical detail re. "national defense" but Ian did a good job on his "own".

Hey Marc, I have a request.
SUBTITLES!
I just finally gave up trying to listen to Joe from England, as much as I wanted to hear what he had to say. I simply could not understand him. Sadly.
So... please consider running subtitles on your next show. ;D
Thanks,
- NonE

["ditto" key here X...] tough combination here specifically, as the phone connection whacked the high-end eq of the voice range and his accent therein made for tough follow (even with headphones!) More specifically then, as to Joe's comments, he mentions at the 50:05 mark of hour 1 a recommendation of something available online. He says its some questions for assessing one's own mental maps that NLP uses and it sounds like he's saying something like "Maxim Levels" (?) but apparently that's not exactly right as I've yet to turn anything up regarding that (or other ideas I could come up with sounding similar to that). Anybody know ("translate") what he's saying/talking about? thanx~

Does anyone know what he said, (about halfway through the show), about patterns of speech George Bush often uses?

He is the first of Marc`s guests that I could understand fully on the initial listen ! Funny that. (Like hearing a voice from my childhood.Sensory information from MY past). Maybe I could provide that subtitle service I think that`s a good idea of Marc`s to get Joe back soon (with Alistair) . More Joe for my mojo ;D JM P.S.eye2i2hear Search for metamodels NLP.

So is Stephen Colbert (or at least, the O'Reilly-esque persona he portrays on "The Colbert Report") -- however Stephen uses irony and satire in the same way as Samuel Clemens did (and would, presumeably, if still alive today). Fear + "Truthiness" sums up the core theme of the "Junior Bush" administration Sadly, the masses follow suit and mimic the "leaders" so "Joe Sixpack" is unlikely to engage with us in rational discussion of the facts, rather he'll say "DO YOU WANT ALL KEEDA TO ATTACK YOUR FAMILY?!"

Reminds me of the part in Christmas Vacation when Clark doesn't understand what the hotel worker is saying, his kid tells him, "He's speaking English dad!" I would advise downloading the archive of the show and listen a few times. It took me about a half an hour to get used to Joe's accent. Can you imagine I spoke with my accent too? ;D judgemental is right, look up the meta-model. I think it's also called the Milton-model after Milton Erickson. Thanks again Joe for coming on the show.

No State Project on Short Wave Radio: 23:00 hours Universal Time at 12.180 MHz.
(I got the first hour today, but then the transmission went dead for the second hour, so I'm not sure what the deal was with that. Also, the RBN.com listing indicated that the frequency would be 5.050 MHz, and that is not where it was. For those of us who can't get the show on local radio and don't have the ability to listen on the internet, this is a nice option.)

Marc, (About 45:42 min into hour 2 on Aug 12 Show Jeff, you're resident anti-social poster child that calls every so often). Perhaps you could tell Jeff , for me the next time he calls that his whining is annoying me and I shouldn't have to go outside and hide and turn off the radio to drowned out that noise he makes cause that infringes on my indoor rights. . . I wanna be inside in the air conditioner enjoying the cool not outside in the heat. Can I call animal control or some other government agency on him? Maybe Orkin or Terminix for being a pest. ;D I really feel sorry for this individual. He claims to be a "loner" but if he was he wouldn't be whining for the government to come help with every problem he seems to encounter; he'd have a much stronger "constitution" (pardon the pun). That type of personality is usually much more independent and self assured. I think he may be a loner type not by choice but because no one wants to associate with him so he makes up problems that he has to call someone to come out. At least that way he has company for a few minutes that will have to listen long enough to figure out he's actually just lonely.

Perhaps he has been sitting back on his couch for hours, throwing back potato chips, and pauses ESPN long enough to call in Marc's show and promote his misunderstanding of what he thought is called "survival of the fattest"? ...I'm sure Marc would prefer random callers to say "Ba Ba Blooey" and hang up, rather than waste precious air time making no sense and/or making no valid point (perhaps now we know why Big Giant Head is so quick to cut people off? )

Yea,
because Big Giant Head doesn't want someone to make a valid rational point that would show him for the stooge he is . . . that is.
Marc is doing the opposite and trying to help folks find one in there; which is hopeless with Jeff I think. Marc does have much more patients for that than I would. Maybe It is good to let Jeff go on cause we get to see the lunacy but I'm sure most of us see enough of that everyday . . . ;D
