DD,
I've been doing all this research to do exactly that. The hold up has been trying to figure out the resonant frequency and the best design. All this info is relatively new to me also. I'm spending a lot of time just reading and searching. This on top of the ordinary chores of daily living.
Apparently, the only real varible in the Meyer Cell is the dielectric strength of water since it is the threshold that has to be broken in order to cause the release of the gas. I imagine the threshold voltage will change with the distance of the electrodes. I'm still researching that.
This new information about the catalyst effects of chemalloy has now knocked me onto another track. If all I need is the right amount a catalyst to do all the work, then building the Meyer cell would not be necessary.
That video also discusses a device called a permanent magnet transformer that produces over unity power.

Saga, I am watching an incredible video by someone named Peter Lindemann who is associated with Keelynet. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6183263096342406828&q=free+energyPeter Lindemann - The World of Free Energy (KeelyNet Conference) You may have to cut and paste the link. Forward the video to 1 hour and 35 minutes. He discusses something called Chemalloy (name brand) that produces hydrogen constantly when immersed in water. It behaves like a catalyst . Only the water is consumed and not the Chemalloy. It also produces it's own voltage and current. www.nuenergy.org/experiments/chemalloy.htmPeter also discusses the nuts and bolts of how Stan Myer's fuel cell really works. Very simple, actually. KT KT, I must have missed that link. I have it posted now on the first post of the first page in this thread under Misc. since Pete covers so much from free electricity to hydrogen. I also posted a link to Pete's web site and the Keelynet site in Misc., and put the chemalloy experiment link under hydrogen. This is a cool video but the best part is as you said, at about 1:35 in to the end.

^ submitted by www.hytechapps.com/ -- nice website (a lot less amateurish than most I've seen in this area of research. And wow, they even try to explain the science -- in terms understandable by both expert and n00b!

Did ya notice how they steer away from ourtageous claims, pushing more how it can be used and it's benefits to the industrial machining industry. . . . There was a little about use in a car, but they're not pushing that. I was reminded that Pete Lindeman was telling folks about the "free electricity" machines that work, that so long as they look conventional like have a plug in, or attach it to a gas line, (just never turn the valve on) no one will know the difference and that is how to get them out there. *cough* probably referring to government agents that want to stifle and control this technology. Think about it. If everyone no longer needed petroleum fuels, that's a big loss in tax revenue. Then if we get home generators and stop buying electricity, Start using gizmo to make phone calls. Bout the only thing left would be sales and property tax and people might just tell'em to stick that too. Then they'd have to go get real jobs and we can't have that.

Hmm it seems that Free Energy Technology = No State Technology. I've been reading alot about this Free Energy topic lately. Should we start a new thread? Saga, are you familiar with Tom Bearden and his work with a device called a MEG? video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3179563077694383295&q=tom+beardenHere is his site. He has pictures, patent info, and theory of operation. This site is a wealth of info too. There are a few very good Tesla videos available at google also. Look for "Peter Lindemann" to get his other video on Tesla and cold electricity.

Joe Cell Truck Builder Threatened, Destroys Plans After announcing that he had successfully built a truck that runs on Joe Cell technology, drawing energy from water and Orgone, Bill Williams said he was approached by two men who demanded that he stop his research, threatening him with dire consequences if he didn't. Others are keeping it alive.pesn.com/2006/04/13/9600257_Bill_Williams_threatened/

I read that article too. This Joe Cell seems to be catching on. There are a lot of people experimenting with it.
I still don't understand it myself. I mean I understand the electolysis aspect but the Joe Cell is suppose to do more than conventional electrolysis. It must work very well if someone is willing to kill someone else over it.
I imagine that even more people will be interested in experimenting with this Joe Cell after hearing this story.

Electrolysis requires a lot of energy to start/maintain the power cycling, from the little I have researched... So the real breakthroughs seem to be either catalysts or something else that makes the process require way less energy. So little that the power companies and petroleum industry see this as a very real threat: PORTABLE, WATER-based energy that can be CHEAPLY reproduced for the masses.

To whom it may interest:
Just returned from a trip through the Rockies (2000+ miles). Got 19-20 mpg on homemade B100. Total cost about $60. Carried my own homegrown food and camped out- high living on a low budget!

Wikipedia: Biodiesel (Redirected from B100) ...which is why the "Big Petrol" multinationals are finally taking it seriously and actively promoting R&D in this area -- cuz if they remain in denial, trying to keep folks "addicted to oil", then one day they'll find all their former customers are travelling on fuel that is "home grown"... can't have that now can we ;D

Dear Blade,
Not at all. I am a farmer. Time to gather the pastured eggs!

I was curious as to why you travel so much? I'd really like to do that.
