Episode IV: A New Year
The story so far...
Darren Dirt was inspired to do a Google search for the phrase "Marc Stevens" (with and without quotes), simply curious what results would come up.
After skipping past the pron and the StrikeTheRoot link ( and of course, Laissez-Faire books and adventuresinlegalland.com ) he found only this brief mention: www.loudthinking.com/arc/000193.html
Disappointed, Darren suddenly thought, "Hey, I wonder if there's any mention of Marc or AiLL on Wikipedia!". Then he said the question out loud. Then he blushed in response to the nasty and puzzled glares of those around him.
But no mention on Wikipedia. Zip. Ah well, what did he expect?
...But then Darren was curious about certain AiLL-related *topics*. So he looked up "State" on en.wikipedia.org. Then he followed a few of the links.
And here are the interesting results in his brief journey of discovery.

I found a few rather interesting entries, and was happily surprised to find that most of them are indeed reasonably balanced (due to the Neutral Point Of View rule) in their handling of non-statist anarchism or libertarianism, with very few pejoratives or misrepresentations...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Government
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_purpose_of_government
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_justification_of_the_state
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monopoly_on_the_legitimate_use_of_physical_force
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_contract (!)
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consensual_crime
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarcho-capitalism
- - -
Anyway, I had to stop myself at this point. A few days ago I imposed upon myself a "break" from certain obsessions (including AiLL-posting ) so I'm going to take perhaps a week or so away (after hitting submit here) to make sure I keep things in perspective, and also to digest a lot of information I have been trying to absorb lately...
Wish me luck folks. Talk to y'AiLL next week or so... ;D
PS: Perhaps some AiLLers could take time to read thoroughly what has already been submitted to Wikipedia in the above (or other related topics) and then perhaps might add something about Marc and/or AiLL to the knowledge base?
