I am sorry to announce my show, The No State Project, will no longer be on Saturday nights; I found out yesterday that Oct. 7 was my last show. It was replaced by another show, Non-Random Thoughts with James Fetzer Ph.D.
There is no animonsity here, and was done strictly because of money. Radio time must be paid for and I just couldn't pay for the 2 hours, someone else could. I was offered a late night slot on Sundays and turned it down for several reasons. If there is another slot available on RBN, then I will probably be able to continue doing the show on RBN. I should find out this week.

And I just want to state publicly how ashamed I feel that I could not be one of Marc's "silent sponsors" -- who knows what might have been... Ah well, maybe you'll make more of a "difference" by doing the occasional guest interview on other people's shows -- after all, isn't that how/where a LOT of us on the forum first found out about AiLL? PS: better make it quick, Team Backup-to-CD! mp3.rbnlive.com/Marc05.html mp3.rbnlive.com/Marc06.html

With all due respect to all on this forum, I find it difficult to believe that most everyone here couldn't find a way to pony up 5-10 bucks a month to support and keep Marc's show on RBN.
You need not be a full "sponsor", even at 5 bucks a month with the number of "core" members of this forum the monthly amounts required could easliy be achieved.
In a voluntary society is Marc's show worth "purchasing" to you or not?
Marc couldn't say this but as a sponsor of his show I will...

Okay, AR, I'll bite... Marc, exactly how much per month do you need in total donations to stay "on the air" (assuming you still want to do the NSP, which I am guessing you do based on the October 7th show and your future plans for having certain guests...) How much total, how much do you already have "guaranteed" from JT and others -- based on that number, we can figure out how many of us "hardcore AiLL faithful" need to contribute and we'll make it happen. "No man is an island..." PS: The archive is not supposed to be taken down. One would hope. But I've seen a few former RBN shows suddenly "disappear" from the archives when the show itself is no longer on RBN. So who knows... As the saying goes, "trust but verify", well I say "hope, but backup" Which reminds me, I did indeed collect all the shows last night, and I also included a few of the others that Marc still hasn't put on his website ("To Free America", Coast To Coast, etc.) but I can't find the Alex Jones appearance that I had grabbed with Audacity. Does anyone have it still? (Sagas? On your little "website" perhaps?)

I absolutely agree with your statement. While I may not post here very often, I am a huge supporter of Mr. Stevens. The loss of air time on RBN is a dissapointment. However, if there are more people willing to be silent sponsors, or even regular sponsors with ad air time, I am sure that another radio station would be willing to pick up the "No State Project". So how about it??? Put your money where your mouth and keyboard are and lets get the "No State Project" back on the air. Get rid of the "bummer" or "thats too bad" attitude. Pony up that 5-10 dollars a month. Riz

On average I purchase at least 1 DVD per month (typically it's between $7.99 and $11.99) so I can easily invest in liberty rather than amusement (and that's just off the top of my head, with no real sacrifice...)

If he's already slated, there aren't any available timeslots. It's too late. Didn't think he'd be the first to be let loose when the owner gave the donation plea. by the way, sept23 and 30 shows seem to be sept 16 shows??? I've downloaded from work and home they've come up as the 16th. It was beautiful while it lasted, But better things lie ahead. The momentum is in the air.

OK, for now, the show will be on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am central on RBN. I don't like the time slot, but it's the best I can do for now to keep the show on the air.

I think thats a better time slot.I also don't see some of those new shows having a long shelf life.

I hope it works out. I don't think I'll have anyone listening live in Australia and New Zealand though. We'll see by the number of callers.

I don't know too much about setting up & broadcasting over the internet , and of course, it's nice to be on the RBN network and have their support, but I'm wondering, if it came down to it, would it be possible to set up your own internet broadcast show? In other words, your own self-produced show? I thought I read somewhere that the costs of such a venture are not too high.

That doesn't bode well for all those late Friday night jam sessions, does it?
But at least we don't have to worry that you'll have a hang-over. ;D
