I will not be having a guest on this Saturday's show, December 17, 2005. I want everyone to call in because it's going to be limited to only market solutions to bringing about a voluntary society. If you can't call in, please email me questions and short comments and I will read them over the air. Thanks. Well Check out the humor thread then. The Dakota Indian Story, Now where do we go from there. Pow, Right to the moon Alice, Right to the moon.

Ok here's some serious stuff.
1. Gold or Silver as a medium of exchange, There are already several companies doing this.
I like the "Liberty Dollar" the problem with all these forms of exchange is that one must use FRN's to purchase them in the first place and the "Liberty Dollar" name leaves something to be desired. How does this move us to a voluntary society when we must still use FRN's? (People always pronounce it Nor-Fed but I like to say No R Fed (Know Our Fed).
I guess when enough are in circulation Liberties, egold, or others the FRNS wouldn't be a concern but sooner or later someone must take the hit when FRN's return to their intrinsic value.
2. Barter. - It still works well. I have traded this way and still do when feasible. My Skills and labor for yours or something I need or want we can agree upon.
3. We had a post somewhere around here about the PTB removing links with the help of Google, Yahoo etc.
A user maintained search engine designed like wikipedia. It won't do anything about routers filtering packets for sites that have been banned but it would make the PTB go crazy trying to sniff packets from sites they don't want you to see. It would also have to be decentralized and volunteers could host kind of like how a WinMX file sharing system works. This would drive them nuts trying to shutdown all the servers because no one person or company would own them.
4. If you have some handyman or other skills work for cash. I have a friend who does this exclusively and while he doesn't have a load of material items he does well enough to keep a roof over his head and feed 6 kids and has a heck of a lot more free time than most.
I hope this stirrs some thoughts and input from others. We have a lot of brain power in this forum.

I had a couple of email exchanges with Carl Watner recently and let him know Marc has his own radio show now. Carl didn't think he would be on the air any time soon but I would still like to listen to that one.

I spoke with Carl last month and asked him to do the show and he declined. He was the one who referred mo to Hans Sherrer.

Nice! That site has a lot of potential, it's been growing sporadically but that's good they put up this "must read" list. One of the free weblinks: "What is Property? An Inquiry into the Principle of Right and of Government" Hmm...

Ouch, Marc. That first caller on Saturday night, wow. You say up front "no patriot nonsense" and this guy wasted 10 valuable minutes saying "FACT: The United States is a legal corporation, so is each State and City, etc." And you're trying to say "FACT: A legal corporation is a FICTION, it's not REAL". I had to say "oy vey!" And I'm not even Jewish I'm shocked that guy didn't mention his website and/or books, videos, whatever since he seemed to be talking about scaring the bleep out of judges and clerks, instead of... hmm... the whole POINT of your SHOW! You have shown amazing patience and restraint, so far. I'm at the 22 minute mark,a nd I sure hope one of the forum participants got through, less likely to head off in a pointless tangent that way. Perhaps in the future when you have call-in shows, you have a 3x5 card in front of you with certain often-used paytriot words, with the FACTUAL definition, such as FREEDOM, LAW, GOVERNMENT, and of course STATE. Then you could interrupt these blind sheeple and say, "Factually, [word] is defined as [definition]. No amount of political spin or legal wordsmithing changes that FACT." ;D Again, wow, what patience you have displayed... - - - Great show, Marc! It got way better (except at the end, that "Babylon" spouting guy...) I tried looking up the "On the steps of central asia" by Richard Ferley (Furley?) and no luck on Google or Yahoo. Any luck yourself? Also at the end of the program you mentioned 2 things re. the Bible: Maurice Nichols, and Emmanuel Swedenborg somebody -- could you post a link to these resources? Not sure of the spelling of these... Or of the Richard Ferley book (but that was especially intriguing -- re. how to actually move towards a voluntary society!) Also for anyone who is interested in having a look at the "Healing Our World" free book, it seems to be available here: www.ruwart.com/Healing/ www.ruwart.com/Healing/rutoc.html

I should have cut him off after 2 minutes. You can google Maurice Nicholls (The New Man, the Mark) and you can get some info on Emanuel Swedenborg at www.swedenborg.com/His magnum opus is the Arcana Caelestia. I would suggest reading Nicholls first as his writings, though deep and profound, make for a good introduction to Swedenborg. This is my private opinion. It is not an invitation to have religious discussions on this board.

DD, You seem to have taken the wrong "STEPPES" in your search for Mr. Richard D Fuerle Per Bylund to your rescue: anarchism.net/steppes.htmJ M Wow, thanks! On the Steppes of Central Asia -- I guess the actual title even makes sense ;D Even more interesting, another title from Mr. Fuerle: Natural Rights: A New TheoryThat's quite the list of promises the book makes. I really think some of us serious students of solutions would benefit from having a look -- as this seems to be the only issue some of us have polarized views on. Some quote from a famous guy (can't remember more than that) said something about eating an apple, and how it was analogous to all other questions of "property rights"... It seems to all come down to first productive use or improvement of a physical thing, until you are no longer doing that and/or have abandoned that right. Like what Fuerle seems to be saying. Oh, and there is right now an ONLINE version of the "Natural Rights" book! www.naturalrights.us/
