...I miss the old days, when we brainstormed practical ideas like this thread...What has happened?
Are we all (including Yours Truly) so busy and/or full of despair about things really changing all that much? What about the "even one [wo]man can make a difference" mindset?
Are we gonna keep on "witnessing", or have most of us just become "pew warmers" in this "social club"?
Seriously wondering.
Sincerely,
Grumpy Gus.
We don't need recordings, we need someone to listen to them. Getting the dog in the dog and pony show to do his tricks in the right sequence isn't closing down the show.
THe other thing is that a lot of peple ( I get this sense) are waiting for the last wheel to fall off. in fact, this willingness to wait might be part of the reason the system is still chugging along like it is.
The financial system can't continue. The laws of physics aren't mutable.
The political system can't continue. No average "citizen" is even vaguely bothered about it. Voting is low, low, low. No one wants it, and even the vaguest alternative will be taken if known about. The reason it hasn't gone yet is that it's using the financial system to pay everyone off.
It's in the nature of these things to change a hell of a lot, seemingly from nowhere. Cold war, cold war, cold war >poof< berlin wall gone, soviet empire dead.
In short, it's not if, it's when.
It's not if change, but how drastic change will be.
And finally, it's what direction will the whole thing take after it collapses.
Everyone knows what happens before - the "state" tries to grab more and more wealth until the whole thing falls flat on it's arse.
Plan for "after" if you want freedom, and plan for "during" if you want to survive.
