As usual, the FDA promoted the "cyanide" scare to throw people off the track and to put the "kbosh" on Laetril. BTW, B-17 works best when combined with an emulsion of vitamin A .

About Acorns... the native americans would make a net and fill it with acorns. They would place the acorns in a stream of running water for a couple days. That would wash the tannins away. The acorns could then be made into any number of delicious recipies.

Cancer is an interesting disease. Basically, though, it is caused by cell division that occurs in an oxygen poor environment or the cell that is dividing has a damaged breathing aparatus preventing it from differentiating into it's proper form i.e. a liver cell dividing into a liver cell. Instead, the liver cell divides but the cell does not function as a liver cell nor does this new cell oxidize glucose anymore. Rather, it ferments sugar which produces toxic by products that poison neighboring healthy cells.

Cancer cells grow in clumps so they can not thermo- regulate properly making them very sensitive to heat which kills them. They also have no protection from oxidation like normal healthy cells so singlet oxygen would destroy a cancer cell when it comes in contact with it. This is why oxygen therapy seems to work.

Yes I am aware that quite a few foods contain cyanide. The key here is the bitter almond taste. One can taste it in the more highly concentrated form in the seeds of certain fruits which would make it questionable if not dangerous to ingest. There is such a small trace ammount in things like berries cherries and the like that you cannot taste it and since it is only a trace it is not harmful.

As for the acorns, grandma and her side of the family have a great deal of knowledge in the ways of nature.

Hemp: yep, it's a booming industry everywhere except the Americas. The founding fathers grew it. Made paper, clothes, rope, and many more products. Before it was banned in the 1930's Henry Ford even used it in the automotive industry. In fact, Rudolf Diesel mentioned 2 words before he fired up his new invention (The Diesel Engine) at the world's fair a few years ago . . . peanut oil. If those things run on peanut oil they'll run on any oil that has the right properties for combustion, hemp, corn, and other renewable oil's included. Of course the big oil companies wouldn't like that too much cause farmers could be self sufficient and some larger ones might just sell some of their spare to the public.

There is also some research that shows everyone that has cancer has an acidic ph balance. It is interesting that some researchers say that it is that type of toxic environment in which cancer thrives. Change your balance to slightly alkaline and that greatly reduces chances of cancer.

I don't have the link to the scholarly article but google +cancer +alkaline and you will find a host of links. Most of these are online purveyors of vitamins and minerals, but one of them should have a link to the original scientific research. They are usually quick to promote any bona fied scholarly research from university studies that show benefits to dietary supplements since the FDA is constantly trying to shut them down so only places like Sherring-Plough, Lilly, or some other big drug companies can take over.

For years you hear the medical community say that vitamins and minerals just go through your system so you're wasting money, but let the FDA regulate that industry and I'll bet a dollar to dougnut holes in a stormtrooper station, that all the sudden when Glaxo, Pfizer, Bristol-Myers and others are the only ones who can manufacture them, that all the sudden the medical community will change their tune since the money will be flowing for prescriptions for vitamins.

World Without Cancer is G. Edward Griffin, I believe - the author of the Federal Reserve expose "The Secret of Jekyl Island"... and I think he runs "Reality Zone" or something. One of many good resources about cancer treatment alternatives, but especially about theories of what cancer really is. Especially enlightening how the "cyanide" only becomes "active" when hitting a "cancerous" cell, and how the fleshy part of the fruit is necessary to offset the cyanide. Very thought provoking.

And wow, HEMP, no kidding, that's apparently been used for very inexpensive, and quick-and-easy-to-grow source for paper, clothing and other fabrics, and fuel. GEE I wonder if any multinationals are helping to fund the "War On Drugs"?

Another interesting book is called :The Cancer cure that worked, by Barry Lynes. Story covers the life and research and destruction of a person by the name of Royal Rife. He claimed that almost all cancers were the result of virus. Back in the 1920's&30's. there is much evidence to support this claim, from STD's devolping in to various genital area cancers(venarel warts, etc) to nazi vaccine research Doctors claiming that there were unknown virus's in the vacines they were devolping and they stated that it would take 50 years in some cases for those canacers to devolp. Using african green monkeys (that later Merck pharma. used for polio vac. to inoculate the world ) they were carrying virus's but were unable to detect, as they did not have the microscopes to see them, but knew they were present. So as we were vacine "dartboards" as kids, what other things also got "injected"? Just My 2 Cents. Oh and by the way Rife invented a machine using light and sound that would destroy the cancer causing "germs". There are versions of this tech that survived a Brutal Attack by our benovelent gov. on behalf of the "cut, burn, and poison" cancer treatment AMA "friends" these machines are avialable today.

The virus theory for cancer just doesn't hold any water. It has been proven in labs that cells degenerate into cancer cells when they are deprived of oxygen. See my above links.

The human body can go without many of the things that it needs to survive for a period of time but try not breathing once and see how long you survive. Oxygen is the most important substance to the human body.

The primary cause of cancer is hypoxia. It has been proven time and again. Anything else that affects a cells ability to breath is a secondary cause.

The virus theory for cancer lead to the development of AZT. AZT is a DNA chain terminator. It prevents a cell from reproducing ....any cell. This drug was shelved after it was found to be too lethal to use. Yet, it is now given to people who are said to have AIDS. Is AIDS killing people or is AZT? Hmmmmm

My Dear Kaos, Had a friend who had an elderly dog that was diagnosed with some kind of carcinoma that was producing tumors thru out the animals body and making him weaker and weaker, labored breathing, etc. This owner purchased one of these machines from an outfit in Alabama and started running it in the house. The dog did show some signs of improvement but eventualy he died. She took the dog to have him autopsyed and turns out the dog just died of old age heart failure and to the vets amazement and everyone else who had been observing this, the dog was completly cancer free and the tumers had all been in a state of shrinking and many had disappeared, and as a side note this machine was being used in a "duplex" the other side, housed an elderly woman with very bad arthritis and she became arthritis free just by being in proximity to that machine (as the light waves and sound frequeniceis traveled right thru the wall of the home) this is a true story I witnessed myself and I personally knew the vet who was amazed by what he discovered.

Royal Rife? "Royal Raymond Rife", the frequency-generating disease-killing machine guy? I keep hearing that name in a radio ad on GCN, I figure it's the same guy. How many people with a first name "Royal"?

That story of the arthritic neighbour being "cured" through the walls is not really all that surprising, when you realize that, factually, every one of us, each body, is just vibrations anyway (and mostly water, to boot!) so all the radio waves, TV waves, cell phones, and now wireless networks, can't possibly be having *no* effect on us... But vibrate the beneficial frequencies, maybe the damage is undone!

Just kidding, that would be great if the answer to cancer could be so simple but from everybody's posts there seems to be no easy "magic bullet" for this ROTTEN illness. Lost my mom to this, so I know how tuff it can be. Sure would like to see it defeated though! There is a hospital in Ensenada, Baja, Mexico called Hospital Santa Monica,( I believe) that does many,many, cutting edge cancer therapys that cannot be done in this "country" .

I didn't really get the point of your post about the dog that died of old age. You seem to be interested in learning more about the primary cause of cancer in this last post though. If so, read more about Otto Warburg (Director, Max Planck-Institute for Cell Physiology Berlin-Dahlemand) and his research into cell respiration. He won 2 noble prizes for his work.
