Hi all, I have been looking at the definitions of "Patriot" & "Nationalist" and find that many argue about what's what. Ok, I think that a "Nationalist" is fairly obvious to me - this idea supports the existance of a nation, it's boundaries, it's constitution, historical struggles to get from there to here, the purity of the legal system in accordance with the above ideals and defence of it against invaders. A "Patriot" is what...? Someone that supports the wisdom of the government no matter what? I received a newsletter from an American group, grassfire I think, which sent out a whole load of pro-Bush stuff over the Michael moore/ election period which was to my eyes, a whole load of blind and mindless obscience to the current government and nothing else. If I recall correctly, these are the ones who also sent out word of the film "FarenHYPE 911", cutting down Moore and boosting Bush. Anyways, what do you think? tru2form

Since my dictionary hasn't been taken away from me yet ( ) I'll give you the definition of 'patriot': A person who loves his country and zealously defends its interests. So I guess that one could say that a 'patriot' is someone his loves something that does not exist and zealously defends something that doesn't exist's interests! ;D
