Neo eloquently stated that, weishaupt1776 , My "agenda" is to remake the matrix as I see fit. The "mechanism for my end game" is to free minds by teaching them the truth. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, see the DVD for the movie, The Matrix, and pay close attention to Scene-Chapter 13, "the search is over." Most of us here have a pretty good Idea we been scammed. The question is: To simply know the truth . . . Is that enough or do you need to exercise some of that knowledge, and how do you do it?

Yes, we're sort of "preaching to the choir" on this forum but at least we're sharpening our swords figuratively.... gaining knowledge in the process.

To know the truth is the beginning, communicating the "truth" to all those in our "world" of influence is the second item. When we have been faithful enough to spread that truth so that there becomes a sizeable "base" of people knowing that truth, change will occur. This assumes of course that said peoples want that freedom more than anything else, and are willing to sacrifice if need be to obtain their goal.
Someone once said ... We have the "government" we deserve.

I would question whether it's possible to "know the truth." Seems to me the most one can do is be honest -- and if one IS honest, that's the same as "acting on" the truth -- and, in turn, is also the principal key to LEARNING the truth, whatever that is.

Lazerwood,
What if there is never enough that really care so long as their basic needs for food, sleep, reproduction, and entertainment are met?
As the Architect told Neo in the matrix. Are we simply "the sum of the remainder" that will not accept the program?

Good post Harry,
Given previous exchanges with KT as to whether we can really know anything at all was implied.
Your comments remind me of some of Lysander S-p-o-o-n-e-r's comments in his letter to So called Senator Thomas Bayard, and Natural Law or the Science of Justice.

I do not believe knowing the truth is enough. Much like the character in the matrix that wished he could go back to before he knew the truth I sometimes wish I didn't know what I do know because it lays a burden on you to do something about it. If you have an ounce of sense you know confronting this behemoth head on is not the smartest thing to do and is paramount to suicide.
So you live with this knowledge wonder what you will do and will you ever be able to affect change. You realising there are mental constructs built upon other mental constructs. You begin to really understand the true nature of human beings and it doesn't paint a very attractive picture.
I think the worse thing in knowing the truth or the semblance of it is it deconstructs all the propaganda you have be shoveled all your life and you realise that many years have been wasted believing in a mirage that poised as the truth.

I think it's pretty easy to know (without a deep philosophical discussion), if I am someones slave. Also pretty easy to determine if I am injuring someone by limiting their lifes-choices. Also easy to look around and see what is being done to us in this physical realm by "government".
I don't need to know "all truth" to share the "easy stuff" with those around me to effect a change in the way things are.

sagas wrote: >>What if there is never enough that really care so long as their basic needs for food, sleep, reproduction, and entertainment are met?<< In other words, what if things continue exactly the way they are now? Well, my answer to that is this: Because of the tremendous empowerment that technology has given to those in "power", people that don't believe in God better pray that there is one, and that HE would be inclined to act in their behalf. The lemmings haven't got a clue to what is arrayed against them already, and in the near future. The plans of the Elite are quite clear, they state them quite openly in their own publications.

how to test the "truth?" use it in real life. if it works, then you have the "truth." if it fails, then back to the drawing board and retest.

Knowing the truth is not enough and that's why I'm gradually destroying the Matrix, and I want all of you to come with me.
The how is the easy part. The hard part is in the doing and in having the patience to realize that it takes time.
Whoever controls the Matrix, controls the future.

The hard part is in the doing and in having the patience to realize that it takes time. Whoever controls the Matrix, controls the future. Control is the problem. What is the question? Remember the objective is to know the truth, reality, facts, and utilize them to advantage in a nonviolent manner. As the world exists today, If one does not behave as a citizen, (even though we know there are none, no duty, no citizen, no state) , then a buereaucrats reality will become your reality at the point of a gun where there is at least on irrational individual in the situation. That's when people get hurt, maimed, killed. Watch Cops or Court TV, the propagandists make it painfully obvious.

Is that enough or do you need to exercise some of that knowledge, and how do you do it? Just knowing 'the truth' is absolutely not enough for me, I feel compelled to act on that knowledge each and everyday! No need to repeat what I actually do about it, been doing it for almost 12 years now.

Neo eloquently stated that, Most of us here have a pretty good Idea we been scammed. The question is: To simply know the truth . . . Is that enough or do you need to exercise some of that knowledge, and how do you do it? I assume you are referring to the "Truth" about the alleged "govenment" or maybe your idea of what the Matrix "really" is. When I talk about "Truth" I mean it in an absolute sense. Like you started watching a movie from somewhere in the middle and someone asks you what it's about. How do you know? You just started watching it but the question forces your attention to focus on what it IS about. You start to look for meaning but end up chasing your tail. Asking others what they think it is about is even more confusing. Everyone seems to have their own different idea about it. One of the hardest questions for me to answer is "What is the "Truth" about who I am?" Here is a cool quote from that movie "Waking Life": This guy randomly comes up to Wiley in a parking lot. Steve: "You haven't met yourself yet. But, the advantage to meeting others in the meantime is that one of them may present you to yourself. Examine the nature of everything you observe. For instance, you might find yourself walking through a dream parking lot. And yes, those are dream feet inside of your dream shoes, part of your dream self. And so, the person you appear to be in the dream cannot be who you really are. This is an image, a mental model..." "What is Truth?" Are you "in Truth" dreaming right now? How do you know? The truth about what? ....government, law, money, banking, religion, terrorism, mind games, Jerry Springer, the moon landings, aliens, secret societies, quantum mechanics, AIDS, cancer, oxidative therapies for disease, fluordated or clorinated drinking water, white sugar, hydrogen as an alternative to petrolium, ozone, life itself? KT, I'm glad you got on here. Good post, for a number of reasons. Which is all the reply I'll make just now.
Neo, PEOPLE CAN'T LIVE without a matrix of one kind or another. We've GOT to have a belief system, a set of assumptions, in order to make sense of -- organize, as it were -- the tons and tons of information one's senses send to one's brain every second. I mean, I've got OCD, and that's what that disease is all about: the specific brain tissues tasked with sorting it all out, momentarily throw up their arms & give up.
There is an absolute need for some way to know, without having to fret over every single decision every time, how to proceed in situations where information -- THAT information which WOULD be "enough" -- is categorically unavailable.
So you can't just deconstruct the matrix; that would be wrong. Morally. You need to REPLACE the one some folks have, with a different and better one. One that leaves them with a not-so-strong need to be absolutely sure. One that leaves ITSELF open to continual reform.
