I just read this; it made me physically ill, but I am glad I read it.

Especially worthy of note is the "Aftermath" section, where the author describes what the "police officers" were turned into - mindless automatons, yes, but beyond that - the power was already corrupting them, a la "Das Experiment".

And how he himself, thinking he would be one to "stand up" in the face of such injustice and outright abuse, instead caved in to almost subhuman fear... after only 33 hours of this barbarianism. Yikes.

I'm wondering if even the person most "enamored by the system" could still defend the "system" after being there in person or visiting that site.

How could they still believe this is the way it should be in America.

As I've told some of my "unbelieving" friends at work, the mental image of what America is that exists in your mind vanished ages ago...(if indeed it was ever really true).

I gotta stop finding stuff like that, and the "I took the blue pill" piece... they are disheartening, to know such true Freedom Fighters can have their spirit broken* over time - I guess they're human just like the rest of us.

And yet, we must continue to wage the info-war ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Fight on, troops!

I knew this wasn't healthy so I decided to try and handle going outside. But I didn't want to go anywhere near the convention. They say if you get picked up a second time, you go straight to Riker's Island. I realized what an effective job the cops did instilling fear into people. Usually I'm the one who stands up to that kind of intimidation and here I was going right along with the script.

The sound of a helicopter sent a feeling of dread through me and I felt like bolting. I saw cops ahead and moved to the other side of the street, sculking like a rat. That's when I knew I wasn't just snapping out of this. I was fudged up from a day and a half in confinement. Imagine what would happen if they were serious?

Imagine, indeed.

I read the links. Thanks for posting them. It makes one sick, but at the same time, I think the blue pill has no real effect after the red pill has done its work; short of actual mind control, or reprogramming.

Man, everyone needs to read that. You would think that this happened in Russia or something. I'm glad that guy got pictures and everything. Some people probably wouldn't even believe it really happened.

I thought the personal questions toward the end were rather interesting. Why and who would want such information....and for what puposes?
