Awwww, Man. The Double Bucci blues band is straight kickin! Go to the home page & scroll all the way to the bottom. Carl Wagoner is another one of the most unsung guitar heroes in America. His approach to playing can be best described as 100% feeling and balls. Chris Case plays very tasty and melodically. Both players compliment each other very well.
It's funny how small a world it is.
When I first watched Marc's DVD I heard the killer blues tune, "Must've Done Somebody Wrong". Being a bluesman myself, in addition to being a practitioner of other styles, I was seduced instantly. The thing that intrigued me also was the name of the band being Double Bucci. Being from Key West and now domiciled further North in Florida, I know that no one past Miami knows what a Double Bucci is. So seeing that the DVD was set in Arizona, I was wondering how that term carried that far out West. So when I emailed Marc, I gave Him mad props about the Blues on his DVD & mentioned I was from Key West. He replied and asked if I knew Carl Wagoner & Chris Case. Man. my eyes lit up. Carl was the first influence of mine who was the main motivator for me to start playing when I was 13. He turned me on to Stevie Ray Vaughn's Tin Pan Alley, and my life hasn't been the same since. Chris Case I used to watch play with various groups when I was in my early twenties .
We all should try to write some lyrics reflecting the trials we go through here in Legal Land.

You know--when something's baaaaaaaaaad it's really good.
Then it evolved into calling something "sick" when all was really well
So now when we say something is ill it is really sick, but if it is the illest, it's at the pinnacle of sickness.

However, the illinest is iller than the illest of the ill

Hearing this liguistic molestation, I now feel illerest. Or maybe it was too much turkey. Either way, I'm feeling bad. Oops, that means "good" doesn't it. Aw, cwap! (as HomestarRunner would say ;D ) PS: At least you didn't name the thread title "The Blues is Aight"
