Hi All! Hope it's OK to put this up for some opinions. I was pulled over today in a random stop. I immediately informed the 'officer' I was reserving ALL my 'rights' when dealing with him. He got quite upset and proceeded to check every detail of my vehicle, including the brake fluid! He then handed me a ticket for a 'defective horn'. So, when I go to trial, would I handle things differently because I informed him I was reserving my 'rights' before he searched and presented a ticket or stick to the script? Thoughts?

Was the horns rights violated? ;And the ''cop'' re presences the damaged horns rights? I would stick to the script.

From Canada:
“The word “action” according to the legal term, is a proceeding by which one party seeks in a court of justice to enforce some right against, or to restrain the commission of some wrong by, another party. It includes both civil and criminal proceedings.” Dorosh v. Bentwood Chair & Table Co., [1939] 2 W.W.R. 150; 47 Man.R. 133 (C.A.) (emphasis added).
Whose rights have you been accused of violating?

Ironically sad and funny pathetic. everybody fightin' 2 b anybody wantin' 2 b boss. now u know this misery officer just ad-libed on his beat that day. kissed people in his family and off to work just so he can embrace his small bully influenced facade authority and impose it onto some innocent fear induced life that probably resembles someone in his family. and he probably felt real good about it too. I feel sorry for these officer human things. and I wonder what spurs 'em on? how do they disregard their humanity and common sense and resort to this behavior and then go back to their meeting place of rally and pep talk? (enter daydream sequence music) Officer talking to fellow overseer: "oh well, X time 2 punch out & go home so I can c my little girl. i love her so much. it's her birthday tomorrow u know" WHAT!!! they care about OTHERS??? u mean they actually cried when those buildings fell in new york??? yeah! while they were writing up parking citations in and around the site that day. this is proof of all the loopholes in what is law supposedly. when am i ever told and showed that something like a defective horn will result in my being charged with an offense. we are constantly being charged for disobeying and infringing something we are not allowed to participate in or practice, like some weird irony of we're not allowed to know of a law and yet we can be charged the offense for not adhering to. we are set up to never win. I wonder if i should clear some of those empty water bottles on the floor of the car. wouldn't wanna be breaking the law. ..and now a word from our sponsor; welcome to Pick -A- Law, where we show you how to apply infringement to nearly anything under the sun. "sir your left turn signal switch is not emitting the proper tone when it is switched on. I'm gonna have to write you a citation. you have 21 days to pay ....... hey Darren, U wanna play, little authority takes little authority??? king of the authority??? ....oh the vast mayhem.
